I just wanted to make sure I was doing this correctly. I have a second monitor I am using with my 9200 laptop that is a flat panel 17" monitor. I used the "Fn" and "CRT/LCD" buttons to switch from laptop's display to using the flat panel monitor which turned off my laptop monitor. I also used the "do nothing" in the power options where it says, "When I close the lid to my laptop." I now have the lid closed, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to ruin anything by doing this. TIA for your help.
