I am in the process of upgrading my HD to 7200 rpm and would like some opinions on making a exact duplicate of my existing HD.

Here is my problem: I have Norton Ghost and could technically create another partition on my existing HD for storing the clone images, but as soon as I do that, I max out the number of primary partition (4 is max) and Ghost will not work because Ghost needs one free primary partition to run.

The problem is because Dell has a hidden partition for the restore stuffs that takes up a primary partition. I know I can delete the Dell partition but really like to keep that around in case.

    Any ideas? Thanks.
