I just received my 1720, and already there are smudge marks on the screen left by my better half

What is the best way to remove them without scratching the screen? I have a microfiber towel that came with a digital camera that I bought and was wondering if its ok using this?

Scratching is the least of you're worries in my experience.

Just apply even pressure when cleaning otherwise you'll spread the liquid all over the place and cause dead pixels and stuck pixels.

The XPS comes with a cleaning cloth, which does not appear to differ from a microfiber cloth, so I'd say go ahead. But unfortunately, that's just a guess. What the heck is she doing to your screen, lol?
