    man...that would make me furious! i hope dell isn't doing this here in the states.

    I don't know.. that sounds kind of fishy to me, unless it's the chinese screwing their own chinese. that's more likely.

    Well, considering Dell was recently sued by the NY Attorney General for fraud and "making false promises to customers", I wouldn't put it past them to do **** like that in the states.

    IIRC, the problem was when DELL advertised a laptop to have a T2300 CPU but it turned out to be T2300E (without Vitalization and cheaper than T2300). So many did not notice but after people found out about it, they went angry.

    Well I was also annoyed when the LED displays were pulled for the M1330 - presumably to give priority to fulfilling orders in the US.

    Anyway - today I checked and find LED display is an option again for China.
