I am having a charger problem, all of a sudden the battery charger on my 6400 got very hot, i couldnt even pick it up with bare hands without it burning. And the green light on the charger turned yellow. What is the problem and should i quit using my charger?
Thanks

If it's getting that hot, it's probably defective. Try unplugging it for a few hours. If the problem persists, call up Dell and insist on a new charger. If they won't give you one for free, they're fairly cheap.

i have a charger problem aswell and it does get hot. I gotta move the wire where you plug it in just to get it charging, i already got 2 new sets of chargers and each one gets to the point where it starts to not work normally after a couple of weeks. Also my battery drains really fast like in 30 minutes, so cant really go anywhere with it,lol; But ill live with it for awhile

If I was you I would get a new charger right away. Do not use that charger agian because it might cause a fire.
