    Hello Everyone

I am trying to change the shipping address on my Dell Outlet order that I placed Friday. The order is still pending, meaning it hasn't shipped, and est. ship date if 06/25/08, which means I should be able to make that change, but when I call Dell Home Customer Service, they say it is not possible. I am trying to get in touch with my Dell Outlet Rep that helped me purchase this, but he is not responding. Anyone has successfully changed the shipping address for an order? Dell reps keep telling me that I need to cancel and re-order (but with this being an Outlet item, it is not guaranteed). Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh, and I did purchase this on Dell Preffered Account. Thanks.

Ask for a supervisor or manager and talk to them.Even if it's shipped I think they can change the address.

Tried that, same thing. They claim once it is built, there is no way to change the address (for security purposes and fraud protection). Go figure...

Wait til its shipped and call DHL. Arrange for a pickup or ship to a new address. You may have to go to your closest DHL station and show them ID or something...but I believe DHL can re-route it.

I had this happen to me when I ordered my girlfriend's Inspiron 1525. I had to go through a supervisor. At first, he tried to cancel and re-enter the order himself, but it was too late. So he (the supervisor) contacted the courrier company (Purolator) to change the address.
