Hello, as i'm leaving for school soon, I was wondering if I am able to change the shipping address of my order without canceling it as well. Right now I am having it shipped to my house, but...since i'm not going to be here for much longer, it would be more convenient just to have it shipped straight to my school.
Right now my order is in the beloved "build stage". If you'd like me to repeat that, just say "repeat it".

I believe the shipping address cannot be changed once an order has been made. You'd have to cancel and reorder again. I'm not entirely sure on this though.

I just changed the my shipping address today. You can call or use the chat to change it. I called the regular status checkline and said "continue" and waited until I got a representive. Checked about an hour or so later, and the address was changed.

YES, you can change your shipping address, before the item is shipped.
You may even be able to change it after you've shipped, but you would have to do that through the carrier.
NO, you do not have to cancel and reorder.
HOWEVER, if your new shipping address is in a different state, and the tax rate is different, your total price may change.
ALTHOUGH, if you are changing your shipping address because of a delay email sent by dell, and that created a problem with your original shipping destination (no one there now to receive the package, moving, whatever), and your new destination costs more money because of taxes, you MAY be able to talk dell into eating those new taxes. This is exactly what happened to me. I had to change my shipping address from Montana (no tax) to California (116$ extra taxes) when Dell extended my estimated shipping date. I was able to talk them into reducing my price by the same amount as the new taxes, keeping my price the same.
That was probably, to them, the equivalent of a $100 concession that many people have gotten. In any case, yeah, you can change the shipping address without any problem.
