Will changing my address (so my lappy will go to my work)
effect my status. Its still in Production, last I heard late last week it hasnt started being built yet.
    I ordered August 8th.

It didnt say that changing the address would effect it, but knowing how dell has been you never know

No, I asked a CSR about this since I might have to change my address the week of the EDD. Should be no problem. Though it is dell we are talking about.

Your Default Shipping Address will be the used to pre-populate the shipping address for all your new orders.

Right that means that any new orders will use the default Shipping Address. So if you need to change a current order with the new shipping address I would call up dell and let them know.
