    ANyone know how to do this? bios/regedit?

    to change from 150 MBps to 300 MBps

    If your chipset and hard drive both support SATA II, there's no need to switch from SATA I to SATA II; they should interface at SATA II speeds by default. Are you talking about switching from ATA mode to AHCI mode?
