First things first, I have always respected and loved Dell, so I am 90% sure I want to buy from them again.

Now, assuming they release their next line of notebooks with Centrino Duo, how much more $$$ am I looking at spending as opposed to buying a notebook without one? I'm just looking for an estimate, cause' i'm not exactly rich, but i'd like to know if I should buy now while their having their big sales before they annouce the Santa Rosa notebooks...

    thx :)

They have no reason to let the Santa Rosa laptops be extremely expensive....

As usual, if you can find a good deal in the dell outlet, try that. Otherwise, I'm prety sure the new laptops will be nicely priced...

Clock to clock, the new Santa Rosa processor has no significant performance improvements over the current C2D T7xxx series. The real improvement of SR platform comes with DX10 graphics. Therefore, if you don’t care about gaming at all, and you find an irresistible deal ; even buying one right now is not a bad idea.
