I decided to buy some accessories and took out the catalog, the one that comes with your system order, so I can apply the coupon that they print on the cover. I applied it to my cart but it said it expired. So I look closely at the fine print on the catalog and it says it is valid til 8/3. Now I know coupon codes have expiration dates but I got my order on 8/6 (Overnight shipping). Why would they give me a coupon code that expires before I even get it?

So I call Dell Customer Care to complain and they offered me a $50 coupon. The guy weirded me out to because he started to have a conversation with me about the weather here and how it's been raining where he is. He also asked how long I lived in California and what TV shows I watch. Then he asked me what would be the best time to call. At first, I thought why does this guy want to call me. Then I realized maybe it's for a follow-up call, at least I hope it is.

    I suck at storytelling.

Maybe when he calls me back we can talk about our hopes and dreams. Then I'll try getting a free laptop.
