    Capturing tv on a dell inspiron 1520.

    I've got a dell inspiron 1520 and im using windows vista,and was wondering if anyone can help me out, i've been searching everywhere and cant seem to find a cable to connect my pc to my tv.

    Wait... you want to connect your PC to your TV, or a cable/sat signal to your computer?

    Either way, for the first one:
    Svideo cable from the laptop to the TV
    7 pin Svideo-to-component cable(dell sells it for around $15) then use a component cable for HD goodness. Should display ATLEAST 1080i

    And the 2end one:
    Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick ATSC/NTSC USB TV Tuner and Capture
