    Cant open Inspiron 1520!! Please help!

    Hey guys!!
    Really need ur help!!
    Just got my inspiron 1520...
    Never had a laptop earlier in my life...
    I dont know how to open the laptop!!!
    I am such a noob :(
    But i tried lifting the upper portion..
    And it was too tight...
    Did not find any other way..
    So how do I open it?
    Is it like I just life the upper portion or something else to be done?

    Also, while fidgiting, i pressed the button or whatever its called that is used to get the express card slot out....
    And i cant figutre out how to get it in!
    I am feelin so dumb askin all this!
    But Pleaseeeeee help me!!
    I cant wait to open my Laptop!!

    Slid (left to right) the silvery latch that's on the lid while gently pushing the lid upward.

    As for the expresscard slot, just push the button back in a little farther back then the edge of the laptop with your fingernail, and it will stay there until you push it again. Put the expresscard holder back in until you need to use it, to help keep dust etc. out.
