    Cant Access work group computers (1530)

    hey there guys, as some of you may know ive had endless problems with my 1530 so far (ive only had it a week). The problem i have with my xps is that it wont let me connect to other networked computers, even though i am on the same network and workgroup. I have all the sharing options on, and the firewall turned off, but i still cant access any other computers. The other computers at home can connect to my laptop without a problem and my laptop is shown in the workgroup.

    If there something im missing which i need to change in order for me to connect to other computers?? (note i have also tried using the IPs to connect to other computers, and i can ping the other computers with no problem)

    Try Enabling File and Print Sharing if its Disabled.

    Is the network protected? Do you need to supply your Mac address to the administrator in order to access it?
