Just wondering, if the Inspiron 1525 is launched tomorrow, and is available to buy within a few days, would I be able to cancel my current order for a 1520 (and assuming I can get a 1525 for the same price I paid for the 1520), order a 1525?

I ordered the 1520 about a week ago, and the EDD is the 17th. I'd be more than willing to wait a couple of weeks extra if it means the headphone jack issue will be gone.

As long as it hasn't shipped you can cancel (even in boxing stage). Even if it ships you can always return it but Dell can charge you a 15% fee if you do that, unless there are problems with the 1520 you receive.

    Thanks for the reply.
Seems at if it has now shipped anyway (according to my parents, Dell rang this morning, and its going to be delivered tomorrow).

Doesn't really matter, as the only reason I was asking is because the 1525 is supposed to fix the headphone jack issue. If it is present on the laptop I get, then I'll return it and see what to do from there.
