    Hi,

With all the waiting Dell have had me doing, I've decided to cancel my order and I am going to buy a Alienware M15x.

Just a quick question about cancellation in the UK.

They still haven't started making the Laptop yet, so it should hopefully be no problem cancelling.

My main concern is the money Dell has on hold from my Credit Card (its not been debited yet), does anyone know if I am just able to use the money straight after cancelling, or if I have to wait a few days for the hold to disappear or even have to phone the bank regarding it?.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

You have to wait for the hold to disappear, but you do know Alienware is owned by Dell?

Thanks for that, yeah I knew about Dell owning Alienware.

    Can't escape them :D.

I just fancied something a bit more powerful on the GPU front (and seeing as the wait going to be the same for both systems I thought what the hell!).

Going to buy a X9000 EE CPU for it aswell lol and swap it over.

Looks like I'll cancel tomorrow and wait until Thurs or Fri to re-order.
