I'm thinking of canceling my order now. I'm just afraid that Dell wont return my credit. I read somewhere on this forum that dell didn't return their credit and yea. Well, the reason I want to cancel because I found another deal from costco. It goes on sale Monday and I can like.. have a new laptop on Monday..

that's the link to the laptop. not bad, sort of same specs as mine. what do you guys think about the hp laptop?

I would honestly wait a couple more days. You have Jet Black and that is a huge advantage. I am seriously considering cancelling my order for a jet black computer. I think I will wait until my ESD though.

I'm having an experience like that, at the moment...

Ordered an Inspiron 1520 on the 28th July, decided to use direct deposit via online banking. I submitted the order, then right away deposited the money to Dell's account, but I never got an actual confirmation of my order.

So, I made a few phone calls to Dell during the next 5 days or so, and eventually discover that my order was canceled by customer request(my order, but I didn't request a cancellation)!

I requested that Dell pay my money back to me, but they have not yet done that, even after I've sent them a screen shot of the deposit details, and my account name etc.

I've been constantly worrying about it since I sent off that email, hoping that Dell will pay me back, but it hasn't happened yet. :(

Considering it's now late Sunday night here, and I sent off the email at about 7pm on Thursday, I'm hoping that it will come through tomorrow, when business hours start, this week.

You have nothing to worry about. That was some weird glitch and it didn't happen from him canceling his order. He'll get his money, too.

there is a 400$ off offer on a fully loaded red 1420. That might be better option for your specs.

Do you know if we can pick up these from local costco stores?
