As some of you already know, many Canadian orders of the XPS m1330 have been canceled, and are in a state of Dell "limbo"...

I've been calling off and on, and found out that the biggest reason for this was an incorrect SKU for the bluetooth module...

It seems that as of 6pm yesterday, they figured out how to solve this issue, and are now putting through orders... any orders that have been delayed are apparently being "prioritized" for shipment and completion...

I ordered July 4th, and I just got my new order number today, and apparently, the rep said it would be 5 or 6 business days until they ship out my machine (not sure how accurate this is, but I'm hoping its true!)

Great Update tx... Where have I been all this time?? lol

Just playing with ya. It was actually as of 2 yesterday the information was passed to Edmonton.

Orders were being resubmitted as of yesterday afternoon...

As for the 4-5 day delivery....Im gonna have to see it to believe it still. I would expect the first of the month as the shipment to Canada is scheduled to hit the ground in Pickering then.

All my original orders that were cancelled were resubmitted by Dell.

Ok, looks like my info was confirmed...

If it really does ship out in 5 business days, I'll be pretty happy ;) I was so close to ordering a Macbook Pro, but I'd really rather have the smaller machine (4 lbs versus 5.5 lbs)

At this point, I think they are just saying anything to keep your business. Just my opinion though...

I knew there would be a couple US guys not liking that...because it almost confirms that the problems associated with the Cdn orders have just created a priority for Canada.

Actually, the priority now is to get as many systems on the shipment to Canada as possible.

PS Dont jump on me here....I dont recall passing not a spec of innaccurate info yet.. Ive been hitting all the bulls eye's.

Still kinda discouraging when people who ordered AFTER me might get their laptops BEFORE me...

I understand that totally, especially since I have been so many cancellations and reorders and have so much time with several different Dell reps since I ordered on the 4th.

From a business standpoint however, whatever it takes to keep the wheel turning is how its done. They would do what it takes to make a deadline (ie shipment to Canada) then have to reschedule.

BY FRIDAY!?!?!? If you haven't left BUILDING then I don't see how that's even possible unless they took down the order system and shipped it secretly to us! :(

yea... I understand that too. I just wish Dell was a little more ORGANIZED in launching this product.
