Does anyone know the shipping route that dell/their shipping company followa?
The reason im asking this is that I am curious on how long it will actually take for me to recieve my laptop, which is an m1330, once it ships. I would assume the laptops travel on a boat to Vancouver, then the laptops travel on a train to Toronto where I assume Dell Canada's warehouse is, then from there they ship out to whereever they are going. Any ideas on where I can find out or does anyone here actually know and/or have experiance with Dell Canada Shipping.

I'm from Ontario and my laptop (1420) has been shipped. The shipping company they are using for my order is Purolator. According to their tracking system my laptop went to the US, then went to a Toronto sorting centre (i live in the GTA reigon) and then from there, my guess is they ship either to my house or to a closer depot (and then ship to my house)

doesnt matter where you are really, it'll get to you the same timeframe. It all depends on the type of shipping you ordered.

unless you're in Iqaluit. or however you spell it.

Well you see the thing is, I live in a small town right between Calgary and Vancouver so shipping to my place alwasys takes longer.

6-8 business days. 1 day faster if you live close to one of their hubs.

Thats ok cause I was envying Mr Brown who says his arrived.

To think he may have been the first to sign for and look at the box just as the father did in the Christmas Story Movie

That moment of pause before one forgets just what is the quickest way to open the package...

The initial opening and smell of the manufacturing plant within the box....throwing aside all the initial papers on top just to get a glimpse of......

Aaaaaaaahhhh!! Im losing it!!! Help Me!!!!

And with this I just became a Computer Consultant (lol). To think, by the time we are all done here we will all probably become "I am a Computer" or higher...

There should be tracking when you do the order status check on the dell.ca website, if it tells you to call a number when it says more details, that means it hasn't reached Canada soil yet. (I called the number :D )

Basically.... don't call the number and check every once and awhile to check if online tracking has started yet.
