    Same system now with Dual Core 2 but 3945 card is now $1,229 + tax.... Is this a good deal or how can we get a better price?

    well i ordered this laptop on august 24th
    I paid 899 for the configuration you mentioned.
    To be honest this is by far the best price for these options. To get equivelent on hp your looking at minimum 1200 and upfor other brands. So why pay more for the exact same parts? A buddy at work got a dell 710m and its wicked. Sure its maybe a half pound heavier than some of its counterparts and maybe at most half an inch taller but for wayyyyyyy cheaper. You gonna miss $899 or $1500 bucks more?
