What's the secret ninja key press?

Seems like when it falls asleep, all I can do is press the power key until it turns off and then reboot. Annoying.

My desktop wakes if I hit the enter key.

My last Dell woke if I press the power button 1-2 sends. Not long enough to turn it off, but longer than a short jab press.

My new Dell E1505 just laughs at me.

Sometimes my 6400 turns the screen off and it doesn't come on again. I have to press Fn + Esc to go into sleep mode and then wake it with a press of the power button.

I find that my e1505 only does that when it sits too long in sleep mode. I find it tends to shut itself down when left in sleep mode for too long. Normally if it's only been in sleep mode for a short while i can quickly press the power button and it will return to its normal state.

If it is absolutely refusing to start back up then I would definitly call tech suport.

Maybe try flashing your BIOS. I had a problem similar to this and flashing fixed it.
