    Techs,
I posted this once before with no reply so I thought I would try again.

The hard disk on my Dell D400 had to be replaced. The shop that did the
work left the Dell GPRS manager loaded. I have tried to uninstall it but
I get a message saying "there was an error uninstalling"

I don't have the GPRS hardware so I would like to uninstall the manager.

I have removed all the folders and entries in the registry that relate to
this app. It is still listed as a "currently installed program". I even
downloaded a new version and uninstalled it but it didn't remove the
program shown in the "Add or Remove Programs" window!

What do I have to do to get rid of this?

    Thanks for any help

    Jerdonaldson

I finally found out how to remove this program from the Add/Remove list.
Turns out that all the program files were gone but the registry file
didn't know it so I had to do the following:

Go to Start; Run; type regedit and hit OK.
Once the registry editor window opens, expand the folders as follows:
    HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Window\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
Highlight the key of the program you want removed from the list; hit delete.

    Hope this helps someone.
