    Hello,

I have a USB drive - connected type C connector. I can access it fine from my PC. The drive is UEFI - GPT.

When I press f12 to select the boot disk it only shows the internal nvme drive.

Boot mode is set to UEFI; secure boot: off.

If I boot the laptop into Windows - it is able to see the drive and contents.

In the bios if have system configuration/usb configuration - enable usb boot and enable external usb checked.

I have the October 2018 Dell BIOS installed and have tried USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 as well.

I don't believe you can boot an OS from a USB drive has nothing to do with your computer. it's a windows thing
