    I have an inspiron 1420 with the integrated 2.0 mega pixel webcam. However, I can't find it anywhere on my system.

    Gary, the way you worded your first post, it almost sounded like you couldn't find the actual webcam on your computer. But I thought better of it!

    Did you look in the device manager to see if the webcam is there?

    Open MSN Messenger and start a video conversation. See what happens.
