confirmed. Atm. the UK site only has the 1520 with integrated graphics.
As Vizel says, could be a glitch, but with the recent rumours about the introduction of the 1525, who knows lol.

I think I will just have to wait.
I was going to order one yesterday with the 8600gt but decided I'd do it today instead. And now its gone! It was there yesterday.
If the 1525 you mention is released then I will have my laziness to thank!

I have the same problem. I really want an Inspiron 1520 but not a crippled one!

Dell uk got rid of the dedicated graphics cards 8400m gs and 8600m gt on the 20/12/07. Fortunately i ordered mine on the 19th with a 8600m gt :D
You can only get the 8400m gs and 8600m gt on the 17 inch models now

it looks likely that they are running down the 1520 range for the new machine to come out - it seems the 1525 is likely to be announced at the cebit show which is the 2nd week in January. The 1521 model (basically a 1520 but with an AMD cpu) disappeared about the same time as the dedicated graphics.

someone on here posted saying they saw a 1525 in staples in the US on christmas eve.

Id hold off buying a laptop until the new year sales get going - might find a deal on a machine (dell or otherwise).

That sounds good to me and I can't wait. I hope they do release it as that article doesn't specify they will explicitly and I will be annoyed if they arent selling notebooks with dedicated graphics by then.
