    Can't enable file sharing on M1330

    Just got an M1330 and follow Les Tokar's bloatware removal and tweak guides. The systems running really well: 2.2Ghz T7500, 4Gb Ram, 8400 video card.

    In the Network and Sharing Center page, I cannot enable "Turn on File Sharing". I fill in the circle, hit apply, yet the circle is not filled in when I comeback to the module. Other Vista computers I'm running have had no issues.

    This problem may be associated with the first, but I cannot see other computers under the "Network" folder, but can see them when I select "View full map" on the Network and Sharing Center.

    Solutions?

    turn your firewall/av program off, and try again
