    Hi,

I took out my Intel 2200 wireless card of my Dell 8600 and put it back in ( i had to while I did other repairs to laptop)

Now I can't connect to my wireless network.

My notebook sees my network and another in my neighbourhood (this means my card is still working right?)

I have removed all encryption, taken off any passwords, basically I am fully open for ANYONE to join and it still won't connect.

Just keeps trying over and over again to join and says unable to connect,

    Help!!

You love that computer more then me
No I don't love THIS computer more than you! (please don't ask about the laptop, please don't ask about the laptop)

Bugger well for starters I would remove it from device manager and re-install. (reboot should pick it up assuming running XP). No other firewalls running (Norton / Zone Alarm) ....

    Good luck.....dy

Try going to Start-->Run and entering "services.msc" without quotes. Then scroll down to "Network Location Awareness" and double click on it. CHange the startup type (which I think defaults to either manual or Disabled) to Automatic. I had a similar problem and this helped me.
