Hey, I recently saw someone selling the E1505 BT Module that is used in the Intel/BT options.

However the one laptop in question had the Dell Wifi option, Does the BT module attach to the dell wifi chip? Or is it only the Intel Wifi that supports that addon? Thanks.

Just asking before I buy it.

l'm not sure EXACTELY what your asking, but l think the BT module is a usb dongle that plugs internally on the laptop.

You should be able to install & use the Truemobile 350 regardless of what WIFI card you have.

Because you can choose to include the BT module with the e1505.

Just checking, I saw it for 20-30$ thats why.

Cause dell when you order they bundle it with the intel and I heard it goes in the same space basically on top of each other. Didnt know if the Dell wifi chip was different.

You can use it on either Wifi chipset. There is a separate, independant connector inside the battery compartment of the E1505. Take off the little cover, and there is a small connector that clips to the Dell 350 BT module. Slide the module into the slot, put the cover back, and you have BT!

the installation instructions are clear and easy in the owners manual...do it...do it now...and get yourself a BT mouse (they are just so da*n convenient)...don't forget to download and install the Toshiba BT stack from Dell...although you may want to try it out first just using the Microsoft BT setup built into XP...especially if you have a "hard to pair" BT device like anything made by Palm
