    Hi,

The Dell UK small business site went a little mad this morning and offered a 1330 with a 2.4 GHz processor and all the trimmings, as outlined below, for £1307.85, I couldn't order then but I saved and printed the details page.

Do they have to honour it? even if they wont is it useful as a haggling point?

anyone been in a similar situation?

You can't force them to do anything, and no they don't have to honor it since it was a mistake. This happen with amazon a few years ago I think it was with a tv they put the wrong price on it and lots of people ordered it. Once they figured out the problem they cancelled everyones order.

Yeah this is 100% correct. In your case, your argument is (unfortunately) even weaker because they locked you out of even ordering the laptop to begin with.

Agreed. It's pointless unless you have an order confirmation #.

Well, even if you tried to show them the cart or details, if there wasn't some proof like a code they gave you, then you can't do anything with it. It's really easy to photoshop a thing like that.

It's worth a try! I placed an order in to my cart in the morning and they had made a mistake of giving me a free LED screen as an upgrade (I'm in Canada). I printed off the cart. Went back to my cart in the afternoon and the price had gone up.

Spoke to a rep, scanned in the cart and emailed it to them and I got the original price.
