I went through the process of building my new Latitude D820, tried to pay for it, but you can't use a Dell Preferred account on the Small Business portion of the website :(

Granted, I'm not a small business, but is there any way to purchase a Latitude notebook with a Dell Preferred account? I'm not an employee or student of any EPP-qualifying status, and the D820's don't seem to be on the Dell Outlet store.

Was hoping to get this tonight, but it looks like I was foiled again. Any suggestions?

Yes, you can purchase a Latitude via Dell's EPP website. Check with your employer's or educational institution's website. They may have the necessary information for pruchasing a system through Dell's EPP or Dell's University website. Once there you can choose either the Inspiron or Latitude line, configure your notebook and check out with your Dell Preferred Account.

    Good luck!!!
