The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    We need a thread titled something like "should I buy an M1530 now or not but can you tell me if there's a discount or something new coming soon if the M1530 will be replaced and is the new chipset better when will it be released and will the prices of the old ones come down what about the screen OMGOMGOMG."

    Seriously, I'd wet my pants.

    I don't see much of a point to this thread. Can we be nice, as a lot of users are newbies to this forum, and I'd hate to see more senior members just ripping them for not knowing what we take for granted.
