    Can vostro boot from USB drive?

    I upgraded my HD and cloned my old hard drive into the new. Would I be able to boot up my old HD as an USB external?

    you should be able to no problem. i dont have a vostro but i dont see why you wouldnt be able to.

    Yes you can. You'll probably have to enter the boot menu when the BIOS first displays so that you can select the boot device.
