Oh hell, that's a great deal. I paid 1350 for that with the exception of a 100GB 5400 RPM HDD, 9-cell battery, and a 3 year complete warranty.

I saw a similar config in Dell Home (but with HDD limited to 60GB 5400 RPM) @~1050.
There is a 30% off coupon which seems to just have expired which would have brought total cost to ~740$.
Try next week with the coupon ? I think a new batch is released every thursday at 9am EST.

Watch ebay for a 35% off and $35 off. I paid $11.49 for that coupon and my system cost $1050 also including a router.

That system is better than mine, and I paid 1500 for mine... but I got it when core duo first came out.

    Looks great...

You got a few significant upgrades over the unit I got for only a couple hundred dollars more than I paid.

I highly doubt you'll find a better deal unless/until the E1505 is discountinued......

Wow, that's an excellent find - is this through Dell's Outlet or BTO?

No it was online, and through a little over the phone negotiation for the extra 30 dollar deal. I used a link from techbargains website.
