    Xps m1530 running on vista 32 bit system recognizes up to 3.5gb of ram right? Another said it only recognizes 2gb.

    Yes, it does recognize both amounts of RAM.

    I see, is it possible for microsoft to release say, sp2 or an update which will allow 32 bit OS systems to utilize all 4gb of ram?
