    hi all,

    just looking at potential mods to do on my notebook, is it possible to boot from one of these?

    if not, ill prob get another 500gig usb drive and use it for media.

    wasnt sure if the OS will benifit from it :)

    I didn't see it in the options in the BIOS so I doubt it. You'd be better off getting a 16GB SDHC card (if you can find one) and booting off of that.

    8GB is out, haven't seen the 16s or 32s yet, but they'll be out soon.

    Then you can use them for the Vista ready boost crap.

    I don't think any laptop is capable of booting from an express card.
