I recieved a M1530 4 days ago with a Samsung DW306 (very poor screen) and after being sent out the same Samsung screen twice for replacement I was told I could not get an LG replacment and only a Sumsung.

After having an argument with Tech support the unit is being picked up early next week.

I got online to order 5 or 6 replacments and keep a unit with an LG screen and send the rest back I got the attached infomation from the Sales person.

Am waiting to hear back from customer support to tell me this is 100% correct but as far as I am aware you can now ask for the LG screen when ordering and should recieve it.

Heres finger crossed will keep you informed.

Sounds interesting but the rep may have just been trying to close a sale.

The reps have been saying that forever.

You CANNOT choose your screen. They have NOT switched to LG only.

I will wait to see what customer support says as I have been telling them that the sales people lied to me, at least I have proof now and might give me some bargining with getting the XK309 replacment....

Just ship the POS back if you a bad screen. Everyone on the board should send them back ASAP and forget this jumping through hoops ****, they'll get the message eventaully and realize that people don't want the garbage screens.

Yes, but some if us actually need a laptop and going weeks without one is not an option.
