    Can i use a touchpad from an xps on a 9300?

    Hi there, New to the forum and a bit of a noob when it comes to laptops. I've just brought a used 9300 and the touchpad is a little marked. Was looking at maybe changing the colour of it. I have the chance to get hold of a xps touchpad to replace it.

    The question is will it fit straight on or will i have to make some moddifications?

    I do like the fact that it has a black trim instead of a white trim.

    Sorry just realised that i've put touchpad i infact mean palm rest. Lol
