    Can i replace my 1520 palmrest with one

    from a vostro. My palmrest has got scratches on and i maybe think that the vostro palmrest being black might not show up the scratches as much.

    I'm sure this is a silly question but is there any compatablity issues or will it fit straight on and run?

    Well, I guess you can just order new ones and fit them. Call Dell to make sure.

    Never tried this before. But if everything is the same size it should fit...

    There the exact same machines. Only difference is configuration options and the price tag and the audience target.

    I'm tempted to buy painted Vostro parts from Colorware for my 1520. LOL
