    I have a T9300 waiting to be put in my 1530, has anybody done it? Can the current bios support it?

    I saw the dell rep take apart my laptop and show me where to put in the cpu, it is just too easy! Much easier than any other laptop i've worked on!

    The current BIOS (A07) supports Penryn and it is possible to upgrade, but it does void the warranty.

    sweet. warranty isn't voided if you take it out before service :)
