Is it possible for my to hook up my z-5500 speakers to my laptop? I have the E1705 and the specs are in my sig, but would this be possible or no. I couldn't really find any place to connect them into my laptop, unless I'm missing something or didn't see it.

You need a sound card to take advantage of all the speakers.

Ok, well I don't think I'll get a soundcard for my laptop, but since I'm building myself a desktop computer, would the fatal1ty professional sound card work perfect for the z-5500 speakers?

Not sure on the specs of it, but if it has 5.1 or 7.1 support, then yes.

Ugh, don't waste your money on that Fatal1ty crap. Just get an XtremeMusic or XtremeGamer card and save some cash.

BTW an external sound card for the laptop like an Audigy 2 ZS Notebook or Audigy 2 NX would allow for 5.1/7.1 sound.
