    Hey everyone - quick question - Can this dell run windows 7 easily?

    I mean... put in enough memory and it'll do it. Just really, really slowly.

    Yes. It should run almost as fast as it did with (I'm guessing) XP. It's a pretty old and slow machine by todays standards though.

    You'll need a practical minimum of 512MB of ram.

    You may have to hunt round a little for drivers, do a pic'n'mix from XP/Vista/7, but I wouldn't expect any showstoppers. I can't be sure though.

    I had a 2002 8200 running 7 sweetly.

    I'd say no. Maximum RAM in a 7500 is 512Mb if memory serves.
    Waste of money to buy a machine a 1999(ish) machine if you want to run Win7.

    I wouldn't bother with hardware that old, especially considering the price of used D-series laptops and Dell Outlet systems.

    My phone is 1GHz, and it also has 512MB of RAM. That's to run Android. That will not run Win7. :)

    (Well, it'd run it but remember, patience is a virtue.)
