Hi, please help me guys!
Couple weks ago i got this nice laptop Inspiron M301z but when i try to play mkv files with Full HD 1080p it is not running smoothly and it is stopping every one or two seconds. i try to play with VLC player and with Windows Media Classic player (with this player looks better but still very bad). When i was buying this laptop i was thinking that it is powerful enough to play HD videos because i choose with dual core AMD cpu and ATI radeon mobility HD 4250 gpu and with 3 or 4 GB RAM DDR3 so maybe you can help me what i have to do? do you have the same problems? thank you

I would first change to VLC player.
A 4225 IGP should be able to handle 1080p. Try reinstalling your ATi drivers, perhaps something got corrupt. Also more RAM doesn't hurt. You can 8 GB DDR3 for ~90 shipped on Newegg. -
I try to reinstall ATI drivers couple times but it did not helped, then i did format my pc and reinstall windows ultimate but still the same problem, then i call to dell support and they said that this pc is powerful enough and they can help me to fix it but they say that this problem is software problem and it will cost me to fix it 109 or 149 Euro because software is not included in warranty

so who can help me because i dont want to pay 150 euro for fixing software

Check your temperatures with HWmonitor and see if your laptop is overheating. If it is overheating it could explain sporadic freezing. Post your ambient room temperatures, idle/load.
Also see how many running processes there are by hitting Control + Alt + Delete. The number is at the bottom of Task Manager. -
What codec do you use when using MPC-HC? On my old notebook, I was using Microsoft codec for MPEG2 and its lagging, then I change to FFDshow, its not lagging anymore. You might want to try this.
Can Inspiron M301z play 1080p video?
