    Can I use the new RAM in the new Inspirons in my old laptop?

    Need your advice please... I have an old Inspiron 6000 that is using so-dimm DDR2 memory. Will it be possible for me to use the new RAM that comes with the new Inspirons in this old laptop (because I will be plugging new RAMs in the new laptop)?

    aargh! ok, let me rephrase my question - "does anyone know if the new Inspiron/Vostro laptop RAM will be compatible with my old Inspiron 6000"?
