Can I return an opened 1520 within 30 days?
I just made an order an hour ago and got the 1520 basically because it has the Nvidia 8600M GT...I have now found a new ASUS comming soon with the Nvidia 8600M GT but it's going to be released mid November...
so, will I be able to return the 1520 (opened and used) within 30 days if I don't like it

If you just ordered it, phone them and cancel it now. Or pay 15% restocking fee

What if I "claim" that I'm unhappy with it b/c the CPU whines and the screen is terrible and that I'm fed up with it - would I still have to pay a 15% restocking fee?

How would you like it if I borrowed you're wife/girlfriend for a few weeks while mine is gone visiting her parents or on a business trip, and I return her after when mine returns?

    Get lost you gimp.

Well, if the "claim" weren't true, for one thing, you'd be a liar. Don't ask for help in trying to cheat. If you're suffering from buyer's remorse an hour after ordering, it's not Dell's fault. Cancel your order.

the key term is "maybe charged"....call them and talk to them and see what they say.

If you're not sure and no one is sure, you better cancel t he order.

Also, it depends where your from.
For example - here in the UK we have a distance selling law which means if you buy something over the internet, you can return it within 7 days and get your money back

    Why delete the thread?

Because you made a jolly old ass of yourself? Both with a cheating dirty question and being guilty of quoting crappie Simpson's episodes (signature)?

    lol

    You're comparing a wife/girlfriend to a laptop?

I dunno, sounds like you're the gimp with that crappy analogy.

And sounds like you need to hush before you start a flame war.

Get a sense of humor, that was all the intention, along with stating a point.

    End of story.
