I had an Inspiron 9300 with a great WUXGA (1920*1200) shiny screen. The laptop motherboad went so rather than get it fixed I got a Inspiron 9400 replacement on ebay. This screen isn't as good and only has a 1440*900 resolution. I want to move over the old (but better) screen to the new laptop. My question is this possible? I'm not sure as i think I've made a mistake in buying a 9400 with onboard graphics and I'm not sure even if I could if the power and connectors would be the same.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Thanks...

    A Pandelus

Yes, but I've read the screen may be little dimmer.
