    Hey Guys,

Got My Dell Laptop, Inspirion 1720 with Vista Home Premium...
Anyway, naturally I hate all the Dull Clutter so I want to Re-install the OS to clear that stuff up...

Ive read some other theads but am still a bit unclear as to what I have to do..

Basically if someone could give me a little guidance, I know I use the Dell Restore OS CD put that in the drive and reboot... From there I get a bit hazy.. I want to clean up my partitions but also wants to the keep the Dell Media Direct Partition intact ~ is that possible? If so how? Also, I want to make sure the other functions of the laptop, like the keypad work still. I heard of some issues with the HD too, and people saying I got to install drivers during the install.

If anyone can give me a quick listing of what steps I need to take that would be great. Thanks in advance.
