If I am gettting 1 year warranty with the laptop purchase, Can it be upgraded later on?
And will it cost me more or less?
Thanks

Yes I believe you can upgrade it anytime within the original warranty. And it should cost just about the same.

You definitely can. When I informed my cousin (a former dell in home service tech) about my laptop purchase, he told me to upgrade my warranty as soon as I can. You may also extend your warranty when it's about to run out.

Thanks for the help. I might go with 1 yr. warranty now and upgrade later.

It is the same price as on a new machine if upgraded within 30 days of the machine's ship date. Otherwise it will cost you quite a bit more to extend the warranty. Also, you can't get CC after 30 days since the machine shipped.

Not to hijack the thread but i have a question along the same lines, Can u use Dell Coupons to upgrade your warranty? or is that not possible?.
