    Can Dell get any Faster ???????

    I ordered an Inspiron 5150 last Friday, was given a shipping date of June 21. Guess what arrived yesterday, one week later. We checked it out to make sure it worked properly and then cleared the harddrive and reloaded the software. It is actually my son's computer for college, but now I want one also. Have a nice day.[ :p]

    Nice turnaround time there by Dell, it's always faster when you're ordering models they've been making for some tine. When I purchased the 9100 it took over a month due to "production issues".

    Too bad you're sending the kid of to college with the new toy. that's okay, after he's left just buy a more expensive and up to date laptop so he's jealous when he finds out [ :D]

    Wow. That is quite a fast turnaround. Great to hear that you have everything setup for you.

    Abaxter, now you know that is just way too wrong. And you know that parents would do that, or spend the money on a cruise and tell him when they get back ;)

    This coming from the techie guy so my parents were not letting that happen. Now instead of vacations I am here setting up wireless networks for my mom. :p
