have a Dell laptop we purchased this year along with 4 year extended warranty which includes accidental damage. Since we're still in the first year, the 'extended' part of the warranty has not kicked in yet.

Question: Can the extended warranty be refunded or prorated refund if we sell the laptop?

Asking because we want to upgrade our Dell laptop.

    Thanks,
    UL

You cannot "return" a warranty no. It adds value to the laptop when selling though, so be sure to mention it during any sale.

What do you mean the extended part hasn't kicked in yet? Accidental Protection isn't included in the base warranty nor is at home service, unless Dell has changed?

At least both those are standard on the 3 and 4 year extendeds...
