    the stability of the M1730 with the m8800GTX? Is it any louder, and is there anything that else that should be factored into making decision to purchase?

    Nobody received the laptops yet (as far as I know), so no one can comment on that. The cooling system will handle the cards. Though it will cost you at least 3.5k :), as you can only get SLI.

    I think that you should factor in that it is 40-50% faster than the 8700 version ;)

    I would say go for it. It will be a sweet machine.
